The show starts with CM Punk coming down to the ring with Paul Heyman who’s carrying Paul Bearer’s urn. Punk says he did not take the urn to disrespect Bearer he took it because the Undertaker values it so much. Punk says for the first time Undertaker is at a psychological disadvantage and he is scared. He says if it was any other man Taker would be 21-0. Hell, he could be 50-0 but he’s never faced the Best in the World. He basically calls out the Undertaker. The gongs go off with the lights but when they are powered back on Undertaker is in the ring. He lays a beating into Punk and Punk drops the urn. Heyman on the outside grabs the urn and runs out of there with his pants on fire and Punk follows suit. Punk’s music plays as he stands at the top of the ramp with the urn smiling. Taker signals back and we cut to commercial. Pretty good start to the show.

Apparently Fandango was supposed to make his in ring debut. He comes down to the ring complete with extravagant entrance, takes a long pause, and begins to say his name. He gets to the second syllable when Chris Jericho interrupts him and comes charging down to the ring. He beats Fandango down and he escapes the ring and Jericho’s opponent for the night Dolph Ziggler comes sown with AJ Lee and Big E. Langston. Pretty decent match. Jericho wins with the Walls of Jericho which surprised me but it’s one of those things you can’t be mad at. After the match Fandango walked back out to the ring. He dances and then hits that picture perfect leg drop off the top. He reminds everyone what his name is.

Matt Striker is backstage with Sheamus and he asks if he and Randy Orton have buried the hatchet. Before he could give a definitive answer The Shield attack him. They’re beating him pretty good before  Orton jumps in to help his partner. The Shield are able to fight off Orton but Big Show isn’t too far behind and he disposes of The Shield. He helps Orton out as we cut to commercial.

Mark Henry is in the ring for a 2 on 1 handicap match against the Usos. Pretty much a squash match aside from the Usos hitting some cool super kicks to get Henry off his feet. Henry gets the win with the World’s Strongest Slam.

Antonio Cesaro is set to take on Alberto Del Rio. Ricardo Rodriguez even comes out to introduce ADR but struggles. During the match Jack Swagger comes through the crowd and attacks Ricardo. He drags Ricardo by his broken ankle and smashes it against a barricade. Del Rio exits the ring and goes after Swagger. Del Rio clubs away at Swagger while in the crowd. After a couple shots Swagger takes off and ADR gets gets counted out. Del Rio realizes what happened and after checking on Ricardo goes back into the ring and slaps on the cross arm breaker on Cesaro for good measure.

Next up is a tag match between Team Hell No and the Prime Time Players. Pretty good match, obviously I wasn’t expecting much. It wouldn’t have made sense to make Team Hell No look less the dominant so close to Mania.

Triple H comes out to hype his match versus Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. He doesn’t take Brock Lesnar lightly but he says every day he has stepped in the ring during his 20 year he has stepped in thinking it was the last match of his career. He gives Brock a piece of advice, “Come to Wrestlemania like YOUR career is on the line.” A short and to the point promo. As he exits the ring and goes up the ramp Wade Barrett’s music hits. The two stare down each other and Barrett signals Triple H to hit the bricks so to say. Triple H looks at Barrett then punts him below the belt as we go to commercial.

When we get back Barrett is in the ring trying to recover from getting kicked in the nads. His opponent The Miz comes down to the ring and takes advantage of Barrett’s state. Match has a slow build but progressively gets better as it goes on. It was pretty back and forth. The finish came when Miz ducked under a big boot from Barrett who gets hung up on the top rope. Miz brings him down and locks in the figure four. Barrett taps out.

Backstage Team Hell No are fighting with each other has to who needs to be more focused for their match at Wrestlemania. Kaitlyn for whatever reason is in the locker room and interrupts the argument. She tells them that they’ve all been screwed by AJ before but what they need to realize is this is a new AJ. She calls AJ every crazy name in the book and all the while AJ is behind her listening. She finally gets fed up and attacks AJ from behind. Team Hell No pulls her off and kicks her out of the locker room.

We come back from commercial break with The Great Khali, Zack Ryder, and Justin Gabriel in the ring for their match against The Shield. Obviously it’s awesome any time The Shield is on TV and this was no exception. Even though it was a quick match you got a glimpse of how unique The Shield is. After they get the win their opponents play mind games. Orton and Sheamus come down to the ring together and before they enter the ring Big Show comes from the crowd seemingly taking a page from The Shield’s playbook. They hit the ring and a brawl breaks out. The Shield thrown out of the ring by the good guys. Afterward they look on the Wrestlemania sign this time as a cohesive team.

Backstage Chris Jericho comes out of Vickie Guerrero’s office and informs Josh Matthews and the WWE Universe that he will be facing Fandango at Wrestlemania.

Brodus Clay and Tensai took on Team Rhodes Scholars once again. And once again The Funkadactyls get into a brawl with The Bellas. Only this time the distraction cost Brodus and Tensai the match.

Ryback vs. 3MB wasn’t a squash, but it wasn’t interesting either. One of those things where you knew who was gonna win right when the last opponent came down to the ring.

Next up is AJ vs. Kaitlyn. Didn’t care much for the match but I loves me some AJ. On the outside she side steps a spear from Kaitlyn who goes crashing into a barricade. Kaitlyn can’t make it back inside the ring in time. AJ wins via count out.

Finally we get to the Hall of Fame Q&A segment. The HOF’ers asking the questions will be Booker T, Dusty Rhodes, Mick Foley, and Bret Hart. For the most part this segment was a big let down. The questions were pretty generic and so were the answers. Cena did have a few good zingers. Things got sort of tense in the end. Cena got up in The Rock’s face and signaled “You Can’t See Me” and The Rock pushes him back. Cena attempts an Attitude Adjustment but Rock fights out and hits the Rock Bottom on Cena. The show ends with Rock walking up the ramp and Cena looking on in disgust.

That’s the show folks.
