Hello everyone and welcome to the Scavenger Hunt! I’m Simon K AKA HobosGhost on Twitter and each Friday I bring to you five clips from the world of wrestling for you to enjoy/watch in bemusement.
The first Scavenger Hunt was uploaded on July 11th 2014 so thank you to everyone who has checked out the Hunt here on TWC this past year!
Kicking off with a match from this year as the geeky Dexter McPointdexter takes on the “Justin Beiber of Professional Wrestling”, Dylan Bostic!
Dylan Bostic started wrestling aged 15 and wrestles primarily for Ohio Valley Wrestling among other indie promotions. He is a two time OVW TV Champion and a one time OVW Southern Tag Team Champion with Roberto De Luna. He is the current APWA Tri-State Champion and the IWC Super Indy Champion. At 23 years old Dylan Bostic is certainly building momentum. Dylan also has made one appearance in the WWE when he lost to Ryback on a 2012 episode of Smackdown in a handicapped match.
With a bit of help from OVW trained Ray Lyn, Dylan Bostic gets past the geeky and awkward Dexter McPointdexter (check out his version of The Worm). Dylan Bostic is one to watch out for!
NWA Hammerlock UK
Hammerlock Rumble Match
This is a Royal Rumble match from the UK which is in simply because it reminds me of British wrestling when I was a kid! What I love is that the ring ropes look so loose and wobbly. Also the ring invasion at the end by all the little kids with the female ring announcer asking them to all please leave the ring again reminds me of my times watching wrestling as a kid back in mid 90’s!
Keep an eye out for the kid on the outside of the ring hitting downed wrestlers in the ring with an inflatable hammer! I couldn’t find a date but it was uploaded by Majik, the blonde wrestler who was a big crowd favorite going by the reaction from the crowd! Nostalgic!

Ultimate Warrior vs PorkChop Cash
Next up the WWE Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior squares off against a man with probably my favorite wrestling name, PorkChop Cash on WWE Wrestling Challenge!
PorkChop Cash debuted in wrestling in 1973 and worked the majority of his career for the various NWA territories of the time. He was a multi time Champion in the different territories mostly in the Tag Team divisions. Cash was involved in tag team feuds with teams like Rock ‘N’ Roll Express, The Sheepherders and the team of Dutch Mantel and Koko B. Ware. Cash also won some singles titles. The NWA Hollywood Heavyweight Championship was the only single he held more than once (two reigns as Champ).
PorkChop Cash worked as an enhancement talent between July to October 1988. This was the last TV match for Cash taking on the Intercontinental Champion Ultimate Warrior. That was never gonna be easy!
Malia Hosaka vs Starla Saxton (Molly Holly)
From an episode of WCW Worldwide we have Malia Hosaka taking on the young rookie Starla Saxton who would later be most known as Molly Holly!
Having trained under Dean Malenko in 1997, Saxton wrestled on the indie scene winning two titles in the process. She wrestled Hosaka in a dark match before an episode of WCW Thunder in June 1998. Before this match she actually wrestled Jacqueline on WWE Sunday Night Heat and on the UK edition of Shotgun Saturday Night for the WWE Women’s title. Saxton would stay in the indie scene before signing for WCW in mid 1999 and debuting as Miss Madness. After Randy Savage kicked her out of Team Madness she became Mona in WCW. Behind the scenes Nora Greenwald (her real name) and Madusa were training other women talent at the WCW Power Plant to develop the division.
Despite being a rookie at the time Nora Greenwald shows signs of the great wrestler she would become!

Paul Orndorff vs Lucious Brown (Virgil)
We conclude this weeks episode with “Mr Wonderful” Paul Orndorff taking on a talent who’s all about money, Lucious Brown AKA Virgil!
Virgil is getting lots of attention on Twitter and Periscope in recent times after teaming up with the team that made Iron Sheik a social media hit. Before the days of him as a bodyguard to the “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase, Mike Jones wrestled as Soul Train Jones in CWA in Memphis in 1985. After that he had this match vs Paul Orndorff on WWE Wrestling Challenge as Lucious Brown. After this he would debut again in 1987 as Virgil. The name Virgil was thought up by Bobby Heenan to mock WCW booker/wrestler Dusty Rhodes (Virgil Runnels). When Virgil joined WCW he would be called Vincent to mock Vince McMahon during the Monday Night Wars.
A GoFundMe account was opened asking for donations to make Virgil a million dollar man, good luck with that!
That concludes this week’s Scavenger Hunt! For just over a year I have tried to bring to you clips found on the internet every Friday. I hope you enjoyed this one and feel free to check out past Scavenger Hunts here on TWC! Thanks to Erik for giving me this slot on the website and all of you for stopping by! Until next Friday, so long folks!
