It’s Friday so that means it’s time for the Scavenger Hunt! I am the man known by some as @HobosGhost on Twitter and each week I compile five clips from the world of wrestling found on the internet for you to expand your wrestling knowledge.

Tatanka vs Frankie Ciatso
Kicking off with a match from WWE Velocity as Frankie Ciatso takes on the Native American Tatanka! Tatanka has just signed a legends deal with the WWE this week, the same week Superstar Billy Graham re-signed on a legends deal. Tatanka never held a title in WWE surprisingly but was undefeated in singles competition for two years until losing to Ludvig Borga on an episode of Superstars on 28th September 1993.
After being a surprise entrant at the 2006 Royal Rumble, Tatanka stayed with the WWE for his last run until early 2007. Having wrestled a lot in Europe in recent years it’s great he is now back working with the WWE!
2nd December 2007
Match Of 10,000 Tacks Match
Abyss/Raven vs Rellik/Black Reign
Revisiting the TNA archives as we go back to Turning Point 2007 as Raven teams with the monster Abyss to face Black Reign and Rellik in a 10,000 tacks tag match!
Black Reign is of course Dustin “Goldust” Rhodes and he spoke about this being an unhappy time of his life while he fought personal demons. He teams with Rellik who is Johnny Stamboli formerly of the Full Blooded Italians with Nunzio and Chuck Palumbo in WWE and similarly as The Mamalukes with Big Vito in WCW. Black Reign was released in April 2008 and Rellik followed in May after short stints with TNA.
Thumbtacks and all sorts of other weapons come into play, Abyss was a bloody mess by the end of this match…enjoy!
2nd May 2015
Kay Lee Ray vs Toni Storm
International action now as Scotland’s Kay Lee Ray takes on Australia’s Toni Storm in solid action for WXW in Germany!
Kay Lee Ray recently appeared in a losing effort to Nia Jax on NXT while wrestling on a short tour in USA. The 23 year old debuted in 2009 and while wrestling all over the UK, Kay has made appearances for SHIMMER and SHINE in USA as well as appearances in Japan and Europe.
Toni Storm is based in UK but originates from Australia. She recently wrestled Mickie James during the Global Force Wrestling tour in UK and was part of a women’s tag team main event at the PROGRESS show on 1st November to great reviews. Toni has wrestled in Australia, UK, Italy, France and Germany and is one of many female wrestlers on the rise.
Not a lot of time for these two but they really maximize their minutes well!
17th July 2011
Richie Steamboat vs Ricardo Rodriguez
FCW action as the son of the Dragon, Richie Steamboat takes on Ricardo Rodriguez! Richie retired from wrestling due to severe injury before even making a main roster appearance while Rodriguez was on screen as Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer. Debuting on the indie scene on 11th August 2006, Rodriguez wrestled as Chimaera. While rarely being able to show his in ring abilities on the main roster, Rodriguez was more active in ring in FCW. He was originally part of the Ascension group in FCW with Conor O’Brian (Konnor), Kenneth Cameron (Bram in TNA), Tito Colon (Fernando/Epico) and Raquel Diaz (Shaul Guerrero) but was removed before the group appeared.
With William Regal being entertaining as normal on FCW commentary, this short yet solid match is another example of FCW!
13th January 2007
1PW Openweight Championship Match
Pac (Neville) vs Kid Kash
We end with a match from here in the UK as ECW/WWE/TNA alumni Kid Kash goes one on one with PAC AKA Neville from WWE!
Neville as PAC started in the North East of England with the IWF. He appeared in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla between 2006-2008, holding the PWG Tag Team titles with Roderick Strong defeating the Briscoe Brothers in a tournament final. PAC won four different titles while working for Dragon Gate between 2007-2012. He also took part in the 2012 NJPW Best of the Super Juniors tournament where he reached the semi final, losing to eventual winner Ryusuke Taguchi. PAC signed a contract with WWE in July 2012 and debuted on 16th January 2013 on NXT.
Kid Kash is currently on his retirement tour which he announced back in February of this year that 2015 would be his final year as a wrestler. He was defeated by his mentor Ricky Morton at NWA Smokey Mountain and he is due to face Chase Owens on 21st November for the first time ever. Great match to end this week’s hunt!
That concludes this week’s Scavenger Hunt! Check out past Hunts here. Thanks for stopping by and hope you pop back on TWC next Friday for the next one! So long folks!
