Massive Change to WWE TLC; Kurt Angle Returns to the Ring!

Illness in the WWE locker room causes a massive change in the WWE TLC card.

Unfortunately, if you were looking forward to a full-on Shield you’re going to have to wait a little longer thanks to viral meningitis. WWE Superstars Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt were both hit with the infection which causes headaches, fever, sensitivity to light, and neck stiffness. Although many were looking forward to The Shield reunion, and some looking forward to Sister Abigail vs. The Demon, WWE has altered the WWE TLC card and simultaneously sent the wrestling world into a frenzy.

Replacing Roman in the TLC main event vs. The Miz, The Bar, Braun Strowman, and Kane will be WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. Oh, it’s true. (pun intended) Angle has not wrestled for WWE since 2006. Despite not competing in WWE in over ten years, Angle did compete on the Independent Wrestling circuit and various promotions around the world before returning to WWE. Angle under the bright lights of WWE, running with the young core of talent like Rollins, Ambrose, Miz, and Cesaro will be fun to watch.

But that’s not all….

Replacing Bray Wyatt (or Sister Abigail) in his match vs. “The Demon” Finn Balor will be the former US Champion AJ Styles. Not only are we guaranteed to see a great match, for many hardcore wrestling fans we are seeing the original leader of the Bullet Club, Finn Balor, take on the man who took his spot, AJ Styles. This is can’t miss.

WWE Tables, Ladders, and Chairs is this Sunday, October 22nd, live on the WWE Network. Check out Erik and Josh’s predictions for the show on the latest Pay Per Crap Podcast.
