Some positive news regarding the injury that former WWE Champion AJ Styles has been dealing has surfaced online.
Although Styles has not been cleared yet, WWE brought him back to television this week on RAW due to WWE’s belief that they expect him to be cleared very soon. Dave Meltzer reported the news in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Meltzer added that it’s at the point that WWE expects him to be cleared in time to wrestle at the two events in Japan. On Monday’s episode of RAW, Styles was featured in a backstage segment with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.
The Monday Night RAW star had been dealing with a back injury which actually saw the company use the injury in the storyline as a way to write him off of television.
WWE will hold live events in Japan on June 28th and June 29th at Ryogoku Kokugikan. The company recently announced a series of matches taking place at these shows.
At the event on June 28th, Triple H & AJ Styles & Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. Drew McIntyre & Baron Corbin & Bobby Lashley & Samoa Joe is advertised while Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman & AJ Styles vs. Baron Corbin & Drew McIntyre & Bobby Lashley will take place on June 29th.
