Apparently WWE means business straight out of the gate this time when it comes to the emergence of a potential new wrestling war breaking out with new upstart promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW), particularly now that AEW has officially announced their new, two-hour, live prime-time show on TNT starting in October when WWE moves SmackDown Live from the USA Network to FOX.
A new report from Fightful.com suggests that WWE has allegedly told some of its employees that they would be running their weekly potential NXT TV show on FS1 head-to-head against AEW, no matter what night AEW and TNT landed on for their new show.
WWE has yet to make any formal statement on the matter, but AEW has officially announced that their show will be launching October 2 on Wednesdays between 8-10 PM ET. on TNT and the rumor is that WWE will move NXT to the same day/time on FS1 when they officially switch their programming over to FOX and other FOX-related networks in October.
